Oh! I forgot to …
Oh! I forgot to mention that some helmets have pockets for in-helmet speakers. My GMAX GM58S does. Kinda useless though… even sticking my amplified Parrot SK4000 speakers on TOP of the pockets and stuffing them to get them closer to my ears, I still have trouble hearing them thanks to the roaring wind noise (I have a helmet skirt too).

You mean buds. Proper earphones will not fit in a helmet. Many people, myself included, can’t wear typical earbuds… they simply do not fit. In-ear earbuds cost more and are often illegal while driving plus you are still getting tangled up in wires. The helmet can easily pull them out of your ears too!

It will not be in stereo. Let me ask… what are you using to record audio? I’m using a Parrot SK4000 stereo Bluetooth helmet kit with FM radio and an iPhone 3G.

if ur on a budget use them plug in ear phones, i use em for long motorway journeys and no complains here. tho this seems a bit nicer as plug ins can be a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, but nothing to wite home about
