surround sound wireless rear speakers?
I have seen wireless systems for surround sound rear speakers, but all of these still require wires between the 2 speakers. is there any system with 2 small devices that can be attached to the back of each speaker eliminating any wires?
No…they might interfere with cell phones, wireless home phones, home security systems and wireless modems.
What if your neighbor had a high powered system that was close to yours…? Guess what? You would be picking up his signals sometimes… These are just some of the reasons no one has come up with a good design.

No. And if there is I wouldn’t believe it.
You see speakers require power. As a result they need a cable to power them.

I have the Rocketfish wireless rear speaker kit. You run your rear speaker cables to the powered unit that receives the signal from the transmitter hooked up to the back of the receiver. It works really well, but it’s not exactly what you’re looking for. I suppose you could buy two of these and hook one speaker up to each (assuming they don’t transmit on the same frequency), but they aren’t small. They’re about the size of a cigar box.

Above is a link that has a transmitter/receiver from KEF, to use with any existing surround speakers that you have. Never try it…but it’s definitely something that I looked at. Can’t afford it right now…maybe later.
