is there a way to make my messy home theater wireless?
No, there are no completely wireless setups, yet, although supposedly they are on the way with high end TVs + a transmission box with an Intel chip to have wireless (60hz?) transmission ability by next Xmas. Realistically, don’t hold your breath for a reasonably priced system in the short run. Even the advertised ‘wireless’ speakers have to have an A/C connection.
