You can hide it more, you can put the shaker unit on the back side of the couch and move the amplifier unit out of the way. he just had it there so you can see it

You said that the plug goes into the sub woofer’s output. How is that possible? shouldn’t it be the sub woofer’s input. since, your using a Y shape cable outputting from your receiver.

The reviewer is using BOSE Speakers. This invalidates any and everything this guy has to say about home audio.
