I agree with the previous person who said that you should try Infrared.

The reason you’re hearing distortion and telephone calls is because those cheaper brand headphones utilize the 900MHz and 2.4Ghz band that telephones use. Honestly, you would think that they’d have come up with a different frequency to use other than one where you KNOW that there’s going to be possible interference.

Infrared eliminates that! Completely!!

True, you have to be in the same room and in direct sight of the transmitter,…. but if you’re watching a movie or truly enjoying a song and relaxing…. you shouldn’t be wandering all over the place anyways. Right?

Try these. Not ridiculously expensive,… but a little. Judging from the reviews they’re well worth it though.

I have no idea, try searching with google (shhhhhhh! their search is better than yahoo) try getting the highest frequency you can find. there are some great IR headphones out there. you can get some decent ones from radio shack, try IR.

What are the best wireless headphones on the market that would go great with a decent home theatre system?
If you could,… please be precise and provide a link if possible.

I’m looking for a top of the line set of wireless headphones (price doesn’t matter) with the least amount of interference. All the ones I’ve had get "hiss" and "crackling" in them and a few have actually had telephone conversations heard on them.
