I wouldn’t say that it’s easier… but it is more fun with the wheel. The wheel does go back to neutral. Fun to use it online too…

good driving, is it easy to drift using the wheel as far as controlling the car? and when you turn the wheel does it turn itself back to neutral position or does it stay?
