When it comes to excellence in Blu-ray, there’re few that can beat Panasonic. The Panasonic DMP-BD35 is a good example of just how far High Definition Blu-ray has come in such a short period of time. Already a visual reference system, Blu-ray is enhanced still further with Panasonic’s PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus. Essentially, what this does is to process pixels with twice the colour data – that’s twice as accurate as conventional systems. What this means is not only superbly realistic colour but also smooth motion and crisp definition – even on diagonals that are notoriously difficult to reproduce without jagged edges.

Matching the class-leading picture quality is the High Definition audio performance. Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD provide stunning 7.1 surround sound effects when matched to one of the readily available new breed of digital surround sound receivers.

In addition to superior quality sound and vision, Blu-ray takes the experience one stage further with BD-Live. Thanks to a standard Ethernet connection, it’s possible to link the player up to the Internet. From here you can download data such as images, subtitles and bonus content linked to specific Blu-ray discs. BD-Live also supports interactive features such as Picture-in-Picture and Audio Mixing.

The concealed SD card slot allows you to show images from your digital camcorder or camera. Finally, VIERA link uses the HDMI v1.3 socket to carry data between the player and your TV, allowing the use of a single remote control to access all the features.

As if all this weren’t enough, the Panasonic DMP-BD35 Blu-ray player is super-slim and stylish. If you’re in the market for a Blu-ray player, then you’ll struggle to find better at this price. Highly recommended!

I compared these speakers to the chill pills, but its just not the same sound.
I think the IPevo tubular speakers sound better, but cant not go to max/ volume.
Chill pill sounds “good”, and can go to a very high volume without having any problems.
Chill pill design is more portable and more easy to use.
