Home theater speakers for surround sound with a PROJECTOR?

By admin · Sunday, May 30th, 2010 · 2 Comments »

Hey guys, I have recently bought a HDTV home theater projector and want some wireless surround sound to go with it…I want it to be really good quality and WIRELESS. Do any work flawlessly with a home theater projector…I don’t really know how all this works….Also, I need it to be under 1,000 dollars if possible.

You’ll have a hard time finding good quality speakers that are wireless. If you put out the money to get a projector, why not for speakers as well, or to have them installed where the wires are hidden – i.e. through the walls, attic, under carpet, under crawl space, etc. If you’re concerned about not seeing wires, there are plenty of ways around this issue. Then you can get some nice speakers to go with your projector. Good luck!

I want to replace the dvd surround sound with a blu ray player?

By admin · Sunday, May 30th, 2010 · 3 Comments »

I have a Panasonic DVD surround sound and I want to replace the player or reciever with a blu ray. I want to keep the same speakers. Is that possible.

I don’t see why not. If your DVD system doesn’t have inputs, then you may have to get a stand-alone receiver and a blu-ray player. But the prices are so low now, they’re affordable enough for most people.

Enjoy!

I’m looking for a home theater system with HDMI/DVI outputs and wireless rear speakers.?

By admin · Sunday, May 30th, 2010 · 1 Comment »

I have searched and either find the wireless speaker kits with no outputs for digital or the reverse. I have run many searches but can’t seem to get a system with both. Can you guys help me out?

Look at LG’s home theater in a box. They have an upconverting system that connects with hdmi (if you have dvi you can get a hdmi to dvi cable to connect it to your tv). These systems have optional wireless rear speakers (you have to get a rear receiver to go with).

Looking for a wireless surround sound system for my tv, has to be wireless for all of the speakers & in the UK?

Remember, even the ‘wireless’ speakers you can buy still need to be plugged into a power source!!!

That SIX speakers all plugged in somewhere (cables everywhere!)

Also be prepared for very poor sound quality compared to mid priced Hi-Fi speakers!

I definitely recommend listening to ANY speaker before you buy!

Just maybe you can put up with them for your surround\rear channels, but definitely NOT the front 3 + sub woofer! Just NO!
Lol

It’s really not that hard to discreetly lay some speaker cable.

Can anyone recommend me a good home theater system?

By admin · Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 · 4 Comments »

I have a room that is 12 x 11. I prefer wireless. I want a system with an upconverting DVD player. The home theater reciever needs to have an optical audio input. I want a home theater in a box.

On the one hand you want a good system. On the other hand you want a wireless home theater in a box. Well, which is it?

Edit: Bose systems do not connect like other systems so unless the wireless adaptor was made especially for Bose it won’t work right.

Are there any decent wireless surround sound systems?

By admin · Friday, May 21st, 2010 · 2 Comments »

Wireless rear speakers are what I’m looking for and a reasonably priced system.

I would prefer dont go wireless they will cost you more for low quality and also they are not much available in market at the same price you will get a good surround sound system.

Can I use RocketFish Wireless Kit for my Sony-htss2300 Home Theater System?

By admin · Friday, May 21st, 2010 · 1 Comment »

As long as the speakers aren’t already connected to the receiver, then yes you can. You’ll need either bare wire or pin connectors to hook them up to the Rocketfish. If it has a connector on the speaker cable already you may need to cut it. Just make sure you have enough cable to run the speakers to the Rocketfish, which works great by the way.
